I had this deal to develop my own show at Warner brothers,
저는 워너브라더스에서 제 자체 프로그램을 개발하는 계약을 맺었어요.

and then the deal fell apart.
그런데 그 계약이 무산됐죠.

And on the heels of it falling apart I got these scripts from Larry David,
그 일이 무산된 직후, 래리 데이비드에게서 대본을 받았어요.

whom I knew from Saturday Night Live, and we were good freiends.
그는 제가 Saturday Night Live 에서 알던 사이였고, 친한 친구이기도 했죠.

And he sent me these scripts and the scripts were a complete cut above.

그가 보내준 대본은 정말 수준이 달랐어요.

Belive you me, they didn't resemble anything in sitcom that you'd ever seen in your life.

정말이에요(=You belive me), 그건 지금껏 본 어떤 시트콤과도 전혀 달랐어요.

But the part of Elaine was about this big, and I thought you know I don't know. Is it the right thing?

그런데 일레인 역할은 아주 작은 부분이었어요(손으로 아주 작게 표현을 해서). 그래서 고민했죠. 이게 맞는 선택일까?

You know, should I do my, you know, anyway, I made the right decision.

내 프로그램을 해야 하나? 말아야 하나? 결국 저는 옳은 선택을 했어요.

Yeah instead of doing your own show.

"네, 자기 프로그램 대신에요."
