Listening - The Most Racist States in America

 

 

As you can see the most concentrated cluster of racist searches are in the Deep South but rather along a spine of the appalachin running from Georgia and into Southern Vermont

Now the eastern part of Kentucky shown a tremendous amount of racist beliefs on Google

And that's a trend we're going to see moving forward a lot as we Explore More of Appalachia

Many people in Kentucky aren't even casually racist or closeted racist they're out

Here we are in Louisiana which ranked really high on both racist Google search queries as well as racist tweets

Next Up's Pennsylvania when you look at the Google search study there really isn't any part of the state which didn't have any strong racist Tendencies except for the state capital region near Harrisburg

Up next is Ohio which has a lot of really racist people when you measure their behavior online

West Virginia is first by far when it comes to derogatory language aimed at African-Americans on Twitter

In fact the number of racist tweets coming out of West Virginia was Triple that of the second highest state Maryland

켄터키의 많은 사람들은 단순히 가볍게 인종차별적인 발언을 하는 수준이거나 숨겨진 인종차별주의자가 아니라, 대놓고 인종차별을 드러냅니다.

지금 우리는 루이지애나에 있으며, 이곳은 구글의 인종차별 검색어뿐 아니라 인종차별적인 트윗에서도 매우 높은 순위를 차지했습니다.

다음은 펜실베이니아입니다. 구글 검색 연구를 보면, 이 주에는 해리스버그 인근의 주도 지역을 제외하고는 인종차별 성향이 강하지 않은 곳이 거의 없습니다.

그 다음은 오하이오입니다. 이곳 사람들은 온라인 행동을 기준으로 봤을 때 인종차별적인 경향이 매우 강합니다.

웨스트버지니아는 아프리카계 미국인을 향한 비하적인 언어 사용에 있어서 트위터 기준으로 단연 1위입니다. 실제로 웨스트버지니아에서 나온 인종차별 트윗 수는 2위인 메릴랜드의 3배에 달했습니다.
